This is an indoor material that soaks up light and will then emit a green glow for many hours if there is a lighting failure. It is ideal for producing signs and labels showing emergency call points, safe exit routes and stairways (including the edges of steps).
It is particularly popular for industrial areas, manufacturing and the off-shore industry. Since 9/11, it is also being used more widely in the office environment and public buildings, largely driven by new legislation.
